The Kingdom of
God!
Chapter 6
Any of you that really know me, you know
that I am an avid fan of the Kansas City Chiefs. I used to live in Kansas City,
Mo. During the 60's and I had season tickets to the Chiefs games. Having
graduated from Parkersburg High School and loved the Big Reds football team, it
wasn't hard to become a fan of the Chiefs! Red & White!
If God can cause the rocks to cry out
(Luke 19:40), then He can certainly cause the stats from a nationally viewed
Super Bowl football game to cry out concerning the season we are in. The Kansas
City Chiefs 31-20 Super Bowl win over the San Francisco Forty Niners is full of
amazing prophetic messages. Every name, number, date, and time has something to
tell us. We have entered into a new day for the Kingdom of God and its
advancement here on earth.
It is a good sign that both of these teams
were in the Super Bowl. Both of these teams speak of a Jubilee time of
prosperity through the release of debt. The Lord said in Lev. 25:8 and 11,
"Count off seven Sabbath
years,seven times seven years,so that the seven Sabbath years amounts to a
period of forty-nine years The fiftieth year shall be a jubilee for you; do not sow and do not reap
what grows of itself or harvest the untended vines."
The biblical time of jubilee had a focus
on the 49th and 50th year. Kansas City's last Super Bowl
win was 50 years ago. Also, their star quarterback, Pat Mahomes, is noted as
the only player to ever throw for 50 touchdowns in both the pros and in
college. That it had been 50 years since the Chiefs had won a Super Bowl
confirms that we are not about to have a Jubilee, but we are presently in a
time of Jubilee. At the time of the Super Bowl, we were in the beginning stages
of a year of Jubilee because of the way our nation's economy was doing. We have
been set back because of this Corona Virus Pandemic; however, it too shall pass
and the coming economic shifts will be staggering and unprecedented.
It will be many decades before it finishes
maturing. For those wanting things to fall apart so Jesus can come let me tell
you what is next. He is coming through us before He comes for us! We will not
be caught up with Him in the sky as a rescue operation for a beleaguered Bride
of Christ, but He will come for a mature Bride because He was able to
accomplish the will of our Father through His Bride; the Church!
Again, Hab. 2:14,
"For the earth shall be
filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters
cover the sea."
The knowledge of the glory of the Lord!
Some of you may say, "Well, Dave, the gospel has been preached throughout the
world already!" He did not say the gospel, He said the glory of the Lord." So
many of our churches have never seen the glory of the Lord fill their worship
service! The glory of the Lord is His Shakina presence!
When we sing the high praises of the Lord
is the way we prepare ourselves and make ourselves ready for the Bridegroom.
Some more facts about the Super Bowl. The
Chiefs won on 2/2 of 2020. It was also coach Andy Reid's 222nd
victory! The invisible things of our Lord get revealed through His creation!
Rom. 1:20.
Isaiah 2:2 (NASB) says,
"Now it will come about that in the last
days the mountain of the House of the Lord will be established as Chief
of the mountains..and all
the nations will stream to it!"
This speaks of a time when not only
individuals are saved but entire nations will seek solutions from the house of
the Lord. We've never seen reformation and transformation like what's coming.
Mountains, refers to nations. In order for the House of the Lord to be
established as Chief of all mountains, we have to finally value our mission to
be salt and light on all the mountains. Jesus said in Matt. 5:16,
"Let, or allow, your light to shine before
men, that they may see."
The Apostle Paul echoed this thought in 2
Cor. 5:17-21,
"Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a
new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become
new. And all things are of God, who has reconciled us
to himself by Jesus Christ, and
has given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To
wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing
their trespasses unto them; and
has committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now
then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us:
we pray you in Christ's stead, be reconciled to God. For he
has made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in
him."
Someone will say, "Well, we have been doing that for
the last 2000 years!" The problem has been that we have tried to do that by our
own efforts! Mark said in Mark 16:19-20,
"So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was
received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. And they went forth, and
preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the
word with signs following. Amen.
This is what has not been happening in the former Age
of Grace! There were outbreaks of the manifestation of the Holy Ghost but they
quickly faded away as men tried to imitate the manifestations. However, this is
a new age we are living in and all of this is about to change as Jesus prepares
His Bride for her wedding day!
The Chiefs Super Bowl win is another way to those who
have an ear to here and are listening to the Holy Spirit! Donald Trump first
name means, essentially, 'chief ruler'. Church, wake up and consider the facts
about our president. His stands for what The Kingdom of God is advancing is
indisputable. He is the most pro-life, pro-Israel, pro-religious freedom,
pro-poor, pro-for those who are enslaved by human trafficking, president in the
history of our nation!
The Chiefs Super Bowl win is another way that God is
letting us know that the Commander-in-Chief is going to continue winning. God
chastised Israel for not recognizing when He sent imperfect prophets to give
them the message of the Lord. As a whole, we are so like them in that way! So
many of my Christian friends have been listening to the negative news media and
declaring with their mouths what the negative news media is saying about the
United States and its president without looking to the word of God and
declaring what He says!
If you will study your Bible carefully, you will find
that God did not choose a prophet that the people thought was perfect. As a
matter of fact, most of the prophets were not listened to, especially, when
times were going good for Israel. I have always taught my congregation to look
beyond the outward appearance and mannerisms of the teachers that I would bring
in to minister to us and listen to the message that they were bringing and
discern whether it is from the Lord. I find that most people are not good
listeners but are controlled by what they believe and don't listen to whoever
may be trying to teach them the truth. John said in 1 Jn. 4:1,
"Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they
are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world."
Jesus said in Lk. 12:56-57,
"You hypocrites, you can discern the face of the sky
and of the earth; but how is it that you do not discern this time? Yes, and why, even of yourselves,
you do not judge what is
right?
If you are a seeker of truth, the Holy Spirit will
bear witness with you when you hear the
word of God being spoke through someone.
God loves us unconditionally, but we displease Him
when we don't take the time to recognize that He is the one who set Donald J.
Trump in as president of these United States of America!
Kansas City winning the Super Bowl by the total score
of 31 is not a coincidence. Proverbs 31 is the well-known
Biblical reference to the virtuous woman. This story of the virtuous woman is a
representation of the Bride of Christ; His Church here on this earth! The word,
'virtuous', in verse 10 is the Hebrew word, "chayill",
which means 'strength, might, efficiency, wealth, army, force, power, riches,
substance.'
This is exactly what it takes to defeat
the enemy. We must and shine with these virtues
to overcome and defeat the enemy! Jesus said in John 10:10,
"The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill,
and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might
have it more abundantly."
The score in the Super Bowl at halftime was
a stalemate at 10-10. That is where many of us have been and where part of 2020
seems to be taking us. The Chiefs couldn't get past 10 until the last half of the
4th quarter. Then they scored 21 points in less than six minutes to
win the game.
We have been living in the last days of the Age of
Grace and have now entered the beginning of a New Age. Even as the Chiefs
scored 21 points quickly as time was running out to secure the victory, so
shall the great outpouring of the Holy Spirit come quickly and the earth shall
be filled with the knowledge of the glory of God resulting in millions being
saved.
One of the mountains we face in 2020 is the mountain
of justice. Proverbs 31:8-9 says, (NLT)
"Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves;
ensure justice for those being crushed. Yes, speak up for the poor and
helpless, and see that they get justice"
As we, as a nation, get our house in order regarding
Justice, the news will spread throughout the world. The Black Lives Matter
movement, has become corrupt in its leadership and is now a socialist movement.
The Heritage Foundation describes it as an organization that has long
supported the communist government in Beijing. In God's eyes, all lives
matter! This is one of the mountains that must be removed in our country and
Justice for all minorities. Perhaps the most pressing mountain that we must
deal with in 2020 is the political corruptness in our nation's capital. There
will be many prominent leaders in this nation that will be brought to Justice
in the closing days of 2020!
The Chiefs won on the 33rd day of the year
with 333 days remaining because it's leap year. When Jesus was 33 years old the
acts in Acts 2 took place and the Holy Spirit invaded the earth as never
before. Jeremiah 33:3 says,
"Call to Me and I will answer you, and show you great
and mighty things, which you do not know"
Three is a special number to the Lord. The tabernacle
in the wilderness was made up of three partitions; the outer court, the inner
court, and the Holy Place! The God head is made up of the Father, the Son, and
the Holy Ghost. The three Patriots of the Twelve Tribes of Israel were,
Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
LIV was the logo for Super Bowl 54 in Roman numerals.
Isaiah 54 begins with,
"Sing, O barren, because fruitfulness is coming."
The Chiefs quarterback, Patrick MaHomes,
was 24 years old. This connects to Psalm 24 which speaks of ancient doors
opening so that the King of Glory may come in. (NIV)
"The earth is the LORD's, and
everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; for he founded it on the
seas and established it on the waters. Who may ascend the mountain of the LORD?
Who may stand in his holy place? The one who has clean hands and a pure heart,
who does not trust in an idol or swear by a false god. They will receive
blessing from the LORD and vindication from God their Savior."
Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek
your face, God of Jacob. Lift up your heads, you gates;
be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is
this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. Lift
up your heads, you gates; lift them up, you ancient
doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is he, this King of glory? The
LORD Almighty" he is the King of glory.
My prayer for you this week is taken from Col. 1:9-17,
"For this reason, since the
day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill
you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding
that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord
and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the
knowledge of God!"
